Description: Botanist Fu Yun Shen and Zhu Jiu, a volunteer for Doctors Without Borders, embark on a journey into underdeveloped regions in China to provide humanitarian relief and to find a rare medicinal plant with the potential to save lives. Fu Yun Shen returns to his native country in order to develop the drug, but his half-brother Fu Xi Zhou has other plans and seeks to turn the medicine into Chinese herbal cosmetics for a profit. A car crash leaves Fu Yun Shen seriously injured and the drug development stopped, leading to a misunderstanding between him and Zhu Jiu.
However, after six months, Fu Yun Shen and Zhu Jiu overcome the disappointments and heartaches to become a couple again. On the verge of their wedding, Zhu Jiu discovers clues about the death of her parents, throwing a wrench into their relationship. Now, it is up to Fu Yun Shen to protect their hard-earned romance as they face the grievances of the past.
